RWTH remains excellent

RWTH Aachen University will be able to call itself an "Excellence University" for the next seven years, as it has emerged successfully from the finals of the Excellence Strategy in Bonn. In addition to the RWTH Aachen, ten other universities are being funded with ten to fifteen million euros a year; among them the University of Hamburg, the TU Dresden, the network of the three Berlin universities (Humboldt University, Freie Universität, TU), the universities in Bonn, Munich, Tübingen, Constance, Heidelberg, as well as the TU Munich and the KIT in Karlsruhe.
