Research Structure

 

FSC's research structure spans between two dimensions of (i) the Competence Areas (CAs) representing the required disciplinary methodologies and theoretical principles and (ii) the Translational Research Domain addressing fields of application according to potential product and market segments by dynamically forming Translational Research Teams (TRT).

The Fuel Science Center will establish a research framework and infrastructure that enables scholarly work of highest quality and will nurture a culture of interdisciplinary collaboration and critical debate.

The main goal of the Fuel Science Center is to define and develop the methodological basis for "Fuel Science" in a convergent approach to interdisciplinary research.
