The Second Night of 3D Printing

Additive manufacturing – also known as 3D printing – this is the stuff that dreams are made of: you see a geometric shape in your mind, create it in digital space, and turn it into reality layer by layer, for example with the help of laser radiation. Even though no other comparable technology currently has such great potential for realizing individual requirements at the touch of a button, there is still a lot of research to be done.

On January 30, 2020, we open our doors to the public and present you with the right stuff for your 3D dreams. We guide you through our labs and introduce you to the different processes used in industrial 3D printing. In addition, you will have the opportunity to hold printed objects in your hands and attend exciting lectures on additive manufacturing.
