In the five-minute interview, Prof. Robert Schlögl, Director of the 'Heterogeneous Reactions' Department, explains the EU-funded Energy X project and also discusses the opportunities for energy system transformation that can be made possible by this project.
Energy-X aims to develop a strategic "roadmap" for a major research initiative aimed at the efficient conversion of solar and wind energy into chemical forms. 13 scientific partners from all over Europe are involved in the project, which is also supported by numerous industrial companies.
