Regina Palkovits as Max Planck Fellow at MPI CEC
On November 1, 2019, the MPI CEC was able to win Prof. Regina Palkovits as a Max Planck Fellow.
At the RWTH she is a university professor and chair holder for heterogeneous catalysis and technical chemistry. Her research interests include heterogeneous catalysis and material design in order to address the global challenges of our time by developing sustainable chemical processes.
Now Regina Palkovits is also a Max Planck Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion in Mülheim, Germany, where she focuses on building a bridge between homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis with the concept of solid molecular catalysts.
The Max Planck Fellow Program of the Max Planck Society promotes cooperation between outstanding university professors and scientists of the Max Planck Society. The appointment of Max Planck Fellows is limited to five years and at the same time involves the leadership of a small research group at a Max Planck Institute.
