Article "Kraftprobe der Kraftstoffe"

In his article "Kraftprobe der Kraftstoffe" (English: "Power test of the fuels"), which appeared in the MTZ - Motortechnische Zeitschrift in December, Andreas Burkert examines the various alternative and synthetic fuels currently being researched.

Burkert gives an easily understandable overview of the current situation of fuels. Especially CO₂-avoiding fuels are currently in high demand due to the climate targets set. For example, Burkert presents the research of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), which produces petrol from straw, and explains further alternatives to the classic diesel fuel.
